Hi Matt,
before give you an answer, I would like to know which system you use
for your drawings, I mean 2D or 3D CAD ?
I try however to give an answer :
- for 2D CAD system such Autocad, I've always seen 1:1 scale drawing and after
a scaled title block with dimensions also scaled, depends on how big is your layout.
- for 3D CAD system such UG or Catia or ProE, is not important the scale of your drawing, obviously you have to model in 1:1 scale, because once you have modeled,
the system "solve" your problem because it will "ask" you the scale of your drawing.
