One thing that puts him apart from many others is that he has driven and suceeded in numerous diffirent disiplianes .many have tried and failed to do both,some can win in one form and not another but the list of winners in both is limited.it could partly be because many american racers who come to f1 dont often get the best cars to use.perhaps the top teams dont believe they are worth appointing or simply dont agree their worth.
many indy car drivers try track racing after oval racing and then can struggle.some racers will have mixed ovals and tracks and so work well in f1.
jaques did well at both and could well race again if he wanted to and for some time to come. |
