Hello Everyone ... I'm a kart racer in my spare time and would like advice from anyone familiar in a professional capacity with aerodynamics. My kart has a very "droopy" nose, as you can see from the following picture, which means there is not a constant and uninterrupted airflow through the underside of the kart.
Would I be correct in thinking that the nose would be creating adverse drag with the formation of "eddys" along the inside edge of the from bumper? What are your thoughts about how the position of the front nose will affect kart handling performance? My guess is good in the corners, poor on the straights. Thanks for your thoughts.
