This is a powerful rotary internal combustion engine. When rotor round one time, engine work six times. My mechanical design aim was to create a power for UAV,MAV, robotics, mini-generators; engine size is very small, can be forged or EDM etching method of mass production. Because the rotor around its axis, uniform rotation, so it can reach a very high speed, high power. If you are interested in,Your views?
you see:

It have many advantages than WANKEL , especially in small areas with using .1 forging of mass production to achieve a significant reduction in the cost of production. 2. six cell, was more than double than the WANKEL. compact structure than the WANKEL,powerthan WANKEL.3. seal system adopts seal and maze,in the forging of forging a number at the same time very small grooves, constitute a maze. improving Sealing performance. of course, this machine is not designed for the car! it is tiny machinery powered! so, economy and emission is not important, manufacturing costs and power is important!

Hello everyone...can anyone lead me to some literature on Electrically controlled transmission?
We are looking at having clutchless (and paddle shifted) semi automatic transmission wherein a switching circuit (basic electronic logic and some solenoids) preceedes a regular mechanical gear system.
I would also be glad to hear anything anyone has to say about how realizable this is and regarding any safety issues that may arise.

Till later,

Hello. Im looking to have a set of pistons made for my race team. I would like to use the AMC225XE material. The problem I keep running into is companies want astronomical prices to manufacture them. My thinking is, they already have the CAD and CAM designs why is it so expensive to put in a different tool, change some speeds and feeds, and cut it out of the new material???? Expecially since i am providing the material!!!!

If these work I would like to have them manufactured in greater numbers. Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Hi all!

This is my first thread besides introducing myself so go easy on me!!! :D

Basically I'm just looking to see if anyone can offer information on how to get into becoming a race engineer, particularly for motorcycle racing.

I'll be starting a motorcycle engineering degree next year and have made a contact in a race team that supports the BTCC who has said I can come and help out and see what goes on in the paddock when he races his motorbike and I'm hoping that he might allow me to help out on the car racing side of things too.

I'm also a little older than your average student having started a career in IT I'm now 28.

I've not as of yet had any experience so any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Also, unfortunately we all have to go to work, not just for the love of it, but to earn money too. If anyone has info on wages for race engineers that would be of interest to me too!

Hi Everyone!

Not really too sure what to put up here. Started riding motorbikes again about 18 months ago and it's become something of an obsession. So much so that I'm quitting my career in IT and am starting a Motorcycle Engineering degree next year with aspirations of becoming a race engineer.

Just really on the forum looking for general advice and hopefully some friendly banter!
