Default What will the americans bring

If the american f1 team comes to f1 what will it bring to f1 in terms of technology and technical staff?also if as thought danica patrick gets one seat it will allow the team to have a fairly heavy car as danica is barely 5 foot tall and weighs very little.

I think nothing
. . . they are thinking to base one of the facilities in the south of Spain using the experience of Sergio Rinland's Epsilon Euskadi

All depends on who design the car

Is it a ploy to get f1 bigger in the states or a real attempt to achieve something?
it could lead to more irl drivers trying f1

I really don't know, in the past drivers from IRL/CART had always failed . . .

Of course I have :
the US guys are simply not used to the "driving style" of F1 cars,
on oval races they don't have the same G lateral forces you have driving on circuit,
they usually drive on counterclockwise way,
they don't have to deal with the managment of the entire car in terms of engine usage, I mean they are always on the full throttle,
they don't have any hard braking and following acceleration . . .

my personal opinion . . . of course . . .

You are right but they do have some street circuits, also they race for longer in heavier cars which must count for something
