Default Hi all

I feel rather intimidated here with all this talent and hope I can learn and be of some value. I'm K. Albert and my area of expertise is metallurgy and suspension design. My past has prepared me for were I'm at today. The company I work for and part owner is developing a off road car for racing. It has been a real challange and without alot of great people helping it wouldn't happen. Sometimes I can't sleep at night as my head is spinning trying to get past the next level. One thing I've learned in life, if you put enough people togather with a problem it will get solved.

Hi K. Albert!

I've to apologize for the delay in replying you...but this year the flu is terrifying in italy and I got it for more than 8 days!
Welcome then, it's great to have an expert in metallurgy and suspensions corners...

Let's cross fingers for the off road car...will you keep us updated on it?

Ciao, Livia

Well being your in Italy and had the flu your forgiven and the fact is my family came from Italy. Sadly my son is the only family member that speaks Italian as he was a missionary there and now Grandma and Grandpa are dead he's the only italian speaking member of the family.
The offroad car has been quite a challange and fun as I get to test my ideas. Unlike a GP or normal road car this car has to be able to fly and land in a slight nose high attitude without breaking itself, go from 0-60 in under 4 seconds, stick in the turns like it was glued to the surface and be able to run at very high speed over a very rough course like it was on a flat surface. The good part is, it only has to do it for 1,600 K (1,000 miles). The car is being built for one purpose, to win the Baja 1,000.

Welcome K. Albert. Glad to have you on the Forum. Baja and the off road series in the US make for some incredible racing. It has a tough time gaining the spot light like some of the other racing, but makes for great challenges to the teams and drivers. I follow the CORR series, as I know one of the drivers fathers in the Pro Light Class. Good luck, we look forward to hearing more !!!
