Let's discuss about Formula 1 GP At the beginning there has been the possibility to ask to a real Chief Designer of Formula 1 cars (Gabriele Tredozi) his professional opinion on some technical issues. He explained some of the last improvements and he answered all your questions concerning the past, the present and the future of Formula 1 technologies and challenges. NOW it's time to go on without him, let's keep on discussing about each Formula 1 GP in this special area, with all our impressions, ideas and questions about races, vehicles, riders and so many other things. IT'S YOUR TURN!!

Default Ferrari May Quit

Stories in the news say that ferrari may quit f1 over the cost cutting exercises and a quote from eccolstone that they could manage with out them. Will f1 miss them?

well, after yesterday paris court's decision (crazy) Ferrari will have to decide...they have time 'til 29th...or better, F1 has time 'til 29th: are they really willing to loose the most representative and marketing brand in the whole automotive world??? maybe they have already enough sponsors...and they don't need such an important marketing mean...I would be very very worried if i were F1 organizers indeed....

...yes, very hard decision for this Team, but maybe in this scenario is unavoidable, isn't?

again, i think the tough decision is for the F1 organizers, rather than for Ferrari...Ferrari will bring his great name and image to another serie and they will be very very happy with it (gaining, together with Ferrari, sponsors, public and media money as raining dogs and cats!!) !!! what F1 will "sell" to media and public??? who will pay 400euro to go to a race when on track there will be only almost unknown cars racing????
I'm not such a big fun of Ferrari, but it's a fact: Ferrari is one of the most famous words and brands in the world, like God/Jesus and Coca Cola...I can't believe they will agree to loose it!!! F1 is a business based on marketing because it's based on other people's money who pay in change of communication and marketing activity. Ferrari IS The Marketing.

Ferrari are basically showing off how much money they have to splash around.they want to crush everyone by mmaking the others have to spend more money and probably go bust

it looks like they are staying but will start designing and researching this year, this means they are using the higher money limit now. So they are spending the extra before the limits come in
