Pirelli and tyres in Rally WRC competitions

Hi Guys! I've been so busy that first of all i forgot to celebrate the great Ford staff: 44 points! Great start of the season...
But above all I forgot to write about the last surprising novelty:
"The FIA, in the tire supply bidding process for 2008, 2009 and 2010 WRC seasons, did not choose the BFGoodrich brand proposals and selected Pirelli as to supply the control tyre from next year." (Source rally-live.com)
BFGoodrich Rally Competition Director Mr. F. Henry-Biabaud seems to be a little upset about this decision, while Pirelli is delighted...and you?? what's your mind?? I'd like to understand the teams' minds...

Well, there is nothing to understand as there is bad relation between Michelin and FIA since few months, added by the fact that it's now all about business for the FIA...
