MORETTI KEEPS THE LEAD OF THE HONDA TROPHY THANKS TO A GREAT SECOND POSITION!
On Sunday 1st July at Magione (Perugia – Italy), CRP Racing’s rider finished second at the third race of the 125GP Honda Trophy.
Riccardo Moretti, winner of the first two trophy races, had a great start and obtained the second place on the podium after a great fight with his adversaries during the whole race.
A second place that he really deserved, especially after some set-up difficulties during the practice, coming from the continuous developments that are being done on the bike’s electronics. This second position, on a track that Riccardo doesn’t really like, is a great result that allows the team to keep the head of the championship, with 17 points from the second rider and 21 from the third.
A positive weekend after the difficulties in the CIV (Italian Road
Racing Championship), where the experimentation of new and really
innovative solutions doesn’t always allow excellent performances.
The
project innovation and the new parameters of the electronics are in
fact directly tested during the races. When you risk it is even more
easy to have some problems and sometimes this can lead to results that
don’t reflect the real potentiality, but this is the only way to reach
the real innovation which means success.
