Today, CRP Technology (Modena, Italy) is once again a pioneer in hi-tech casting, thanks to their R&D Department and the development of the new ULTRArapid Casting process. In fact, now it is possible to deliver a full dense and free-shape casting within two weeks. Because the quality of the parts is incredibly close to a CNC-machined part, with the Isotropy by Compensation typical of casting structure, CRP can actually speak of “really near net shape” technology.
