Reverse Engineering for Arts
Reverse Engineering for ArtsThe project has involved the Dept. of Civil Engineering Architecture and Environment and is aimed at creating a digital archive of data for the study of two frames of the Correggio works, in exposition at the Galleria Nazionale of Parma 20 September 2008 to 25 January 2009.
Great commitment from CRP in the development of new technologies and as the project wants to prove, there is no boundaries between human and scientific disciplines.
Arts and high-tech mechanical engineering are at man disposal as well as architecture, matter that wants to come out from the mere academic world.
The use of the RE in the morphologic acquisition of the Correggio’s frame represents a meaningful step forward in the application of this technique to the world of Arts and Architecture.
The works of the study-research are concerned the frame of “Madonna della Scodella” and “Deposizione di Cristo morto”.
