CRP Technology never stops researching and studying new innovative technologies for hi-tech mechanics and Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Manufacturing and is therefore proud to announce the introduction of a new service: a new Reverse Engineering and Dimensional Inspection Service. The Reverse Engineering technologies are nowadays essential to reduce the design time and obtain high quality products. Reverse Engineering actually does complete CAD/CAM and Rapid Prototyping technologies, therefore the DESIGN LOOP, the process that includes “concept development - design - engineering - production”.
Starting from the digitalization of a physical model it is now possible to generate a 3D CAD model that becomes the starting point of a new product development.

In order to offer this service, CRP Technology has a 7 axis CMM Faro Platinum Arm with a Faro Laser Line Probe optical system. The spherical measuring range is 3 m (10 ft.), the scanning speed is 19.200 points/second and the  2s Accuracy in non-contact measurements is 0.05mm.
