Super alloys (Inconel)
Inconel 625 is a special super alloy.
For example, it is used to manufacture F1 engine exhaust flanges by investment casting, therefore obtaining enhanced properties such as high surface quality and high thickness control (0,8mm typical thickness).
In this case, H.I.P. (Hot Isostatic Pressing) is applied as a post-casting treatment, while CNC machining and 3D inspection are undertaken only where required.
