He will explain the “Energica formula”, from the birth as entrepreneurial vision of the Cevolini family in 2009 to the worldwide success as single manufacturer for FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup that will start in 2019.
An Energica Ego motorcycle will be also exhibited along with some 3D printed functional parts for motorcycles manufactured by CRP Technology via Laser Sintering technology and Windform materials, used by Energica staff for R&D phase.
Eng. Franco Cevolini, CRP Technology CTO and Energica Motor Company President, stated, “CRP Technology along with CRP Meccanica, acted as Energica’s technology and financial incubator, and they are still today the lead investors of Energica Motor Company, since it has become an independent entity.
CRP Meccanica’s know how in Subtractive Manufacturing (High-Precision CNC Machining), and CRP Technology’s know how in Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing with its patented Windform high-performance composite materials, has allowed Energica to come onto the market in a short time, accelerating the prototyping and development phase”.
“Nowadays – Franco Cevolini, added – CRP Meccanica’s and CRP Technology’s know-how are supporting the development of Ego Corsa, tuned version of Energica Ego for the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup.
Recently CRP Meccanica and CRP Technology attended Energica’s New Sport Production Department inauguration. We confirmed our technological support to Energica not only for the development and construction of the Ego Corsa race bikes for the 2019 race season, but also for Energica’s special and custom projects”.
