CRP Technology obtains ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System
June 12, 2025
CRP Technology has recently successfully passed the audit for ISO 14001:2015 certification, further reinforcing its commitment to responsible resource management and environmental sustainability.
Achieving ISO 14001 represents a key milestone in a structured path where CRP Technology has always integrated sustainable practices into its advanced manufacturing processes, with constant attention to resource optimization and minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Issued by DNV, the certification is valid for the production of plastic components using SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology and subsequent finishing processes, as well as for the production of powders intended for SLS systems and other similar additive manufacturing processes. The certified activities fall under IAF code 15 (Rubber and plastic products) and were assessed in accordance with the requirements of Technical Regulation RT-09.
This new achievement adds to the existing EN 9100 certification already obtained by CRP Technology for its Quality Management System applied to the aerospace and defense sectors, confirming an industrial model that combines rigorous process control, operational transparency, and environmental responsibility.
“Achieving ISO 14001 certification is the tangible result of our industrial approach, which aims to combine technological innovation, production efficiency, and environmental responsibility,” states Franco Cevolini, CTO and CEO of CRP Technology. “It is another step forward in the path we pursue every day to guarantee the highest standards of quality and sustainability.”
CRP Technology’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in circular economy projects, such as the recovery of Windform XT 2.0 powders which, once no longer suitable for SLS 3D printing, are reprocessed and converted into Windform XT 2.0 IMG, suitable for injection moulding or FDM/FFF 3D printing processes in pellet form.
With this new ISO 14001 certification, CRP Technology further strengthens its position as a leading company in advanced and sustainable additive manufacturing, serving high-tech industries.
