CRP Technology, part of the CRP Group and a trailblazer in professional additive manufacturing, is set to showcase its expertise at Drone X Expo 2025 (ExCeL London, September 30 – October 1, booth DX106).

With close to three decades of experience, the company guides UAV manufacturers through every stage of development - from concept validation to fully operational parts. By combining Selective Laser Sintering with Windform composite materials, CRP Technology delivers tailored structural and functional solutions for demanding drone applications.

“As UAV technology evolves, expectations grow. Manufacturers seek lighter structures that retain durability, designs that integrate multiple functions, and components ready to face extreme conditions. Our additive approach with Windform materials makes that possible,” stated Franco Cevolini, CEO and CTO of CRP Technology.

Visitors to booth DX106 will also discover how CRP Technology integrates additive manufacturing with CRP Meccanica’s high-precision CNC machining within the CRP Group, while also offering vapor smoothing for improved surface finish—ensuring maximum flexibility, reliability, and design freedom.

Alex Giugni, Head of Sales – Modena Plant at CRP Technology, will speak at Drone X Expo 2025 as part of the official conference programme. His talk, titled “Advanced Additive Thinking: UAV Structures from Civil to Tactical”, will explore how CRP Technology applies its extensive experience in additive manufacturing to support the development of complex, high-reliability UAV structures.

Drawing on real-world case studies, Giugni will illustrate how Selective Laser Sintering and advanced composite materials enable fast, functional, and lightweight solutions for both commercial and tactical drone platforms.

The session will take place on Day 2, Wednesday, October 1, at the “Future of Flight Theatre,” from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM.
